The Sundarban Delta comprises of at least a 100 Islands among which only 05 Islands are inhabited by the native people of Sundarban. There are also large numbers of tributaries and water channels leading to the Bay of Bengal. The Sundarban Delta has 72 km of porous border with Bangladesh.
