On 01.08.22 evening on getting an active source information SI Samaresh Ghosh, OC Jibantala PS along with SI.Gobinda Kundu and forces had been to the village Sreenagar Majherpara (Narayanpur GP) and conducted raid & searched in the house of one Bablu Sardar s/o Lt.Mujid Sardar. On being searched, recovered and seized (1) One long barrel pipe gun having length 41 inch (approx) fitted with wooden butt, iron body and barrel etc. ii) 24 (Twenty Four) rounds of 12 bore live ammunitions. During raid said Bablu Sardar was not present. On enquiry, it is revealed that one Rabiul Sardar s/o Yunus Sardar of Sreenagar Majherpara who is closed to Bablu Sardar and Rabiul Sardar kept the said arms and ammunitions with ulterior motive. A specific case has been registered at Jibantala PS under Arms Act against them.
