On 22/08/22 at about 19.35 hrs in pursuance of a credible source information SI Sukumar Ruidas along with others conducted raid at Panchghara, khirishtala, under PS Baruipur and detained one person namely Abu Hussain Mondal @ Habu (56) s/o lt Daud Ali Mondal of panchghara, Musalmanpara, PO Subhasgram, PS Baruipur from a 4 wheeler (I-20) who possessed a plastic bag contains 9.175 kgs of cannabis. Accordingly after maintaining all legal formalities SI Sukumar Ruidas seized the same including the car in presence of gazated officer. As the person has violated the provision of 20b NDPS act, he has been arrested. Over this incident, a case has been registered at Baruipur PS u/s 20b NDPS act.
